Speedfarm is a dedicated team of athletes who train and race together to support each other in achieving ambitious goals. We're the top racing team on Vancouver Island, winning the Island Cup for the last four years and topping the podium at many local road, track and trail races.
We offer group workouts, social runs, a strong community, occasionally some pie and always a lot of banter.
Speedfarm is a structured performance program. Membership fees support experienced, hands-on coaching, thoughtful annual planning, and a committed team environment where athletes show up, train together, and progress over time. Each session is part of a larger plan, designed to build fitness gradually and sustainably across a full season.
While there are many free run groups in Victoria, Speedfarm membership offers something different — a stable, ambitious community designed around long-term progression.

Who it's for
Foundation
Speedfarm sessions are best suited to runners who are already training consistently and looking to take the next step. You don't need to be at the front, but you should be comfortable with regular mileage and structured workouts.
Benchmark
For many athletes, readiness aligns roughly with a sub-25 minute 5k, or being on a clear path toward it. We also have a strong group of high performers including national champions, provincial team qualifiers and a large ex-varsity contingent.
Mindset
More than any single result, it's about mindset. Our athletes are consistent, open to coaching, and motivated by long-term improvement. If that describes you, Speedfarm is probably a good fit.
Group membership
